This release continues the push forward to place the power of CONTROL® at the fingertips of a broader group of users, with lower cost and effort:
- There are significant enhancements to Flex views which make them richer, faster, and relevant in more usage scenarios.
- Flex tables handle source data and object data effectively, adjust more naturally to changes in meta-data, and are more efficient in very large or complex cases.
- KCI now offers CONTROL® in the Cloud on Microsoft’s Azure® platform, which will free your organization of any responsibility for supporting the hardware or software infrastructure for CONTROL®. Optionally, you can outsource your application administration to KCI as well.
- For more casual consumers or contributors of CONTROL® information, there is a new browser interface – CONTROL Web. All you need to access and CONTROL® reports and data entry views is a device with a browser and a user ID. The user interface is simple, yet most of the popular navigation capabilities such as paging, rotation, and drilling are fully supported.
